The Radial Compression Device ensures reliable hemostasis at the puncture site following a procedure using radial access. The transparent compression pad is positioned over the puncture site and the hook-and-loop strap is secured. Using the adjustment knob, the pressure can be regulated to stop the bleeding while maintaining blood flow. With its optimized design, the compression pad now features a comfortable rounded shape that helps prevent pressure points on the patient’s arm. MedNet’s Radial Compression Devices are available with hook-and-loop straps in lengths of 22 cm and 26 cm, as well as an 18 cm version for pediatric use.
